The temple has a large 5-story structure famous for the teeth of the Buddha taken from a funeral pyre in Kushinagar, in northern India. Inside the monument is a 420 kg gold stupa in a room on the 4th floor. While the most famous Hindu temple in Chinatown is the oldest and most important Hokkien temple with a quiet space. Built between 1839 and 1842, it is the most beautiful place and the favorite place of Chinese sailors, near the coast. The temple has Scottish architecture doors and Dutch-style tiled roofs.

Wak Hai Cheng Biological Temple

Wak Hai Cheng Bio is translated as the temple of the calm sea, built to remember this area which was once affected by the waves. When the tsunami passed, Chinese immigrants from Chaozhou organized a small temple building in 1826 to pray for safe journeys. The current architecture of the temple was rebuilt in 1850. The temple has a quiet space with the smell of smoke from people who visit with a spacious courtyard.
