Price range of Guo Fu Hotpot Steamboat
Although it costs $ 25.90 ++ for the weekday lunch buffet and $ 27.90 ++ for the dinner buffet, the soup bases have an additional cost, ranging from $ 3 to $ 7 if you opt for the individual pan. For the large sharing pot, it varies between $ 9 and $ 23, depending on the combination of soup bases chosen.
Guo Fu Hotpot Steamboat Review
Although Guo Fu does not have many spices, but it has special sauce for different hot dishes. Take seafood sauces for example. It is made especially in the home for slices of beef. They even have chives and mushrooms sauce made from five types of mushrooms, including Black Reishi and King Oyster. It tastes good and fits most ingredients.
When I first saw the basic soup menu, I had a hard time deciding what to get because they all sounded so good! The menu also listed some health benefits of some of their soups, so it made me feel less guilty at this buffet. In the end, we chose the sweet spicy soup ($ 3) and the beauty soup ($ 7). The beauty soup is boiled with black chicken, red dates, wolf, cordyceps and other herbs. Therefore, it is rich in antioxidants and collagen.
Let's not beat around the bush and dive into the essentials of this buffet. Since Guo Fu specializes in premium beef, the only thing you need to order is the special sliced beef which I call "fatty beef". With an almost equal ratio of fat and meat, each thin slice is cooked in 5 seconds. Expect a very soft and tender beef that is already full of flavor alone!
Guo Fu also offers an impressive selection of other raw meats. You can choose from different cuts of beef, chicken, mutton and pork. Interestingly, it also offers unusual options such as duck gizzards and pork skin. Go for pork belly - it absorbs the broth in which you cook it.
Then, Guo Fu is known for its unlimited XLB! All XLBs are steamed to order, so you don't have to worry that they won't get hot when they arrive. You can specifically request the number of XLBs you want. That way, you won't need to feel a last piece of paiseh (awkward) or feel the need to waste your stomach space just to accommodate an extra XLB.
They have 10 seafood, but I will recommend the crunchy shrimp, sweet scallops and fresh mussels! All this will make your broth even sweeter and more palatable.
For desserts, other than pumpkin puree, pumpkin cake, fresh fruit and banana fruit fritters (only available for dinner), there is also free flowing ice cream! With sweet and savory dessert options, there is something for everyone.
Honestly, I feel that its fatty beef alone is worth the other visit. I can try Guo Fu's unique beef curry soup and the male vitality soup next time!
